The career support department provides the following services through their counter and the reference library.
We plan and conduct various job hunting guidance and seminars.
There are seminars such as how to write entry sheets, mock interviews, and a job fair in the university*. Students are strongly recommended to attend monthly events. Luncheon seminars are held throughout the year.
※What is a job fair in the university?
Every March, we hold a job fair just for our students gathering over 150 medical related companies in Japan.
Many companies want to recruit our students. Students can view information about 3000 job posting including old information. Also our unique web system is very useful.
There are more than 3000 company’s leaflets available. You can read carefully, sometimes paper-based materials are better than digital.

Our career support center provides various support programs depending on school year.
Students are given opportunities to participate in onsite training to maintain and increase their motivation and interest to be pharmacists while gaining an understanding of actual working environments. First-year students visit facilities such as pharmaceutical companies, health insurance pharmacies, hospitals, research institutes and blood centers and experience the actual pharmacist’s job themselves. In the 4th year, we hold a “job fair” where students obtain information about companies, business manners and a lot of other knowhow such as writing resume, interviewing skills, and developing career plans. And also they can learn the importance of self-analysis and the general attitude of being healthcare professionals. In addition, students will be given entry sheets and related materials for job hunting. In December, we invite around 150 institutions (Hospitals, health insurance pharmacies, etc) to participate in our job fair.
The career center supports students so that they can pursue their desired jobs. Specifi cally, we try to build close relations between this university and companies while collecting extensive information about the jobs available and exposing new opportunities. We carry out a job hunt survey with 5th year students and then analyze the results to assist them with their own particular goals. In addition, throughout the year, company briefing sessions are carried out in the form of a popular luncheon seminar series. The job fair held in December is organized by career focus. As for internships, we provide support all year round. Through a close cooperation between the chief professor of each laboratory that the students belong to and the career center, we provide continual support for each student’s employment search.

※In the Graduate School of Medicine (4-year program), we carry out individual counseling to ensure that students set their own direction and pursue it from an early stage.
